NOTE: Please do NOT use mapquest for directions to the Waterfall House from NYC, as the directions are wrong and will lead you astray.
Go over the upper level of the George Washington Bridge

Take Exit 9W, follow signs to 87 North (NY State Thruway)
Take 87 North to Exit #21
Make a left at the stoplight and bear right onto Route 23 West
Follow route 23 West and bear right where it merges with Route 145 North
Keep going on 145 (about 40 minutes) until you come to MIDDLEBURGH
Pass through the town until you come to a stoplight (on the right will be a Red Barrel gas station). There will be a bridge in front of you. GO OVER THE BRIDGE and bear left onto Route 30 South.
Go on Route 30 for 7 miles or so. You will pass a river, go through a couple of very small towns and then past the Max V. Shaul State Park. After the park you will go over a little bridge. The first right after the bridge is Route 4, (West Fulton Road).
NOTE: If you get to the town of Breakabeen, you've gone about 2 miles too far.
Make the right onto route 4. Go about a half mile or so, and we are a really big white house, #256, on the right, directly across the street from Bear Ladder Road.
